ETHICS ARE BOLD
Ethical Fashion Initiative is a flagship programme of the International Trade Centre, a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization. EFI create and strengthen Social Enterprises in emerging economies, connecting international brands with talented artisans and micro-producers in Africa and Central Asia.
Endelea collaborates with Artisan Fashion, EFI's hub in East Africa. Founded in 2009, its mission is to give to socially-conscious brands the opportunity to to design with African artisans and use their production to generate positive impact. EFI's production involves 60 people and they collaborate with 1,276 artisans, 90% of which are women.
