Summer, distant music and a walk under the stars. The fringes of the caftan sway following your movements. This is how we imagine the long caftan in kikoi, an African fabric made by hand following a long and laborious process. It can be worn on both sides, more high-necked in the front with a v-neckline on the back, or vice versa. Sleeve length and width can be adjusted with strings.
The kaftan is made in kikoi, the Tanzanian traditional fabric. An intertwining of over 3000 threads, hand dyed and hand-woven in one of the last artisanal workshops in Dar es Salaam. Wear it as you like it, with the love deserved by a piece that required so much time and care to be made.
Designed in Italy and made with passion in Tanzania by Ally. Kikoi fabric created by Mama Kishimbo and Cracode.
Choose it in the version with delicate and bright lemon yellow stripes on a white background.
