Each Nyumbani carpet (which means home in Swahili language) is a unique piece, made using the scraps of wax fabrics left over from previous collections. The shades of the carpet depend on the colors and patterns of the starting fabrics, hand-worked on the loom from Cracode, a female-led craft shop in Dar es Salaam, run by our friend Mama Kishimbo.

Hand or machine wash: we recommend a gentle cycle at 30°C.
Always make sure to wash your Endelea separately from white and light colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry and iron at medium heat.

Hurry up! The items available are not so many and it’s not easy for us to restock them. Quantities are limited because we buy exclusively from small retailers: fabrics travel across Africa from one country to another and sometimes they run out of stock very fast.
